I mentioned in a previous post that I was getting a lot of feed back from friends. I am very happy about it and I plan to implement most of it.
One think I was told by a friend of mine who is also in the tshirt business is that people want subtle design. Only a small percentage of people want flashy design. Most people want something that is unique but that is also subtle in its uniqueness.
The design featured above is a contemporary calligraphy of again the word tshirt
except this one takes a bit of a stair to figure out, and if you didnt speak arabic you would just think it is some funky shape.
Lesson 2: Lower Prices
Another comment that I got was that the first set of tshirts was too expensive. This set is considerably lower in price, but is still very high quality. All of the fabrics used in this set are echo friendly fabrics such as bamboo fabric organic cotton and organic heather. The print is also high quality flock printing which is more washer durable and has a better feel that the regular digital printing.

Since the launch I have been getting a lot of feed back and comments from friends, though non on the blog :). The experience has already been fun one.
I will blog about the comments and particular advice that I have gotten but first I want to talk a little about the nature of blog tshirt, why there is a blog and how is the business is structured.
Most businesses, as far as I know, start by formulating a business plan, marketing strategy, market projections, etc. They then then raise funds establish a company and start selling. At launch time they are ready and need to mass market and get as many salse as possible. BlogTshir is different in that it started with an idea. I then talked to a couple of people and I put up the blog. Everything else is roughly swimming around my head in some form or another. I dont know much about business, marketing, or any of it. I know its a cool idea and I need your help in developing a business from it.
This is where the blog comes in. I will write about the development of the business, the experiences I gain do it, and start to fine tune it as as I get advice from you. I have many friends with very diverse backgrounds, ranging from management, accounting, IT, to art, design, and culture, and I would like to use and abuse them… waddap ya’all!!!
So the blog is more than a sales platform. It is a platform for “adding value to customers”…. wohoo! I used my first buzz phrase :)… sorry Fuad.

Hellow world!
Welcome to the launch of blogTshirt.com. After a lot of procrastination, I finally got this up and running.
So! What is BlogTshirt.com ?.. BlogTshirt.com is a culmination of quite few ideas and desires that have been brewing in my head for a long time. The most obvious of those is that I wanted to make tshirts with personalized designs.
Through this blog I will share those designs with you and hopefully get your feedback. You can buy the tshirts ofcourse, they are printed and shipped by spreadshirt.com.
The design featured above is an Arabic phonetic spelling of the English word “tshirt”. In matching color the word BlogTshirt.com is printed there in large letters for shameless marketing purposes.
